TIM Program Features

The TIM major is 36 hours in length, including:
2 pre-major courses (6 credit hours)
7 required courses (21 credit hours)
3 elective courses (9 credit hours)
7 required courses (21 credit hours)
3 elective courses (9 credit hours)

Students will be required to formally apply and will be admitted on a
selective basis. Students entering TIM from both CIS and COM should
have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in order to apply.
- If a student chooses to change colleges while completing their TIM degree, they must meet the curriculum requirements for the new college in order to graduate. A request to change colleges can be done by application only.
- Priority seating will be given to declared TIM majors in all required and
elective courses identified in this program.
- TIM majors (from HCOB) will not be allowed to minor in communication.
Similarly, TIM majors (from Communication) will not be allowed to minor in CIS.
- Students graduating as a TIM major will receive a Bachelor of Arts (BA)
degree from the College of Arts & Sciences or a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Haworth College of Business.
