ITERA

ITERA was formally established as a nonprofit academic organization committed to the advancement of telecommunications science through excellence in research and education.  (see www.itera.org ).  ITERA endeavors to advance telecommunications science through
the creation of multiple forums, including academic/industry seminars, academic conferences, affiliation with academic journals, business internship programs and student chapters. 
The annual ITERA academic conference is designed for practitioners of telecommunications education representing all areas of the discipline, including management, law and policy
and information technology.  ITERA fully supports both U.S. and international telecommunications academic programs, including both Research I. as well as community colleges.

Western Michigan University’s TIM program is one of sixteen universities that make up the ITERA consortium of schools.
